The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Japan (SpCCJ) is pleased to support this high-level legal forum organised by the European Business Council in Japan (EBC) in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Japan, on the occasion of Cyprus’ accession to the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
This panel discussion brings together leading legal practitioners from Europe and Japan to examine how recent and forthcoming EU regulatory developments are shaping global compliance standards and influencing corporate legal strategy in Japan and beyond. Topics will include digital governance and AI regulation, data protection and cross-border data transfers, competition law, merger control, and corporate compliance frameworks.
The panel discussion will be followed by a networking reception, offering participants the opportunity to exchange views with speakers and fellow professionals in an informal setting.
