Membership in the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Japan gives you access to a community of companies and professionals engaged in Spain–Japan business.

We aim to provide a practical platform for connection, dialogue, and collaboration.
Your objectives guide how we can best support you.

What You Can Expect from the Chamber

As a member, you receive:

Access to a strong Spain–Japan business network

Invitations to professional and social events

Opportunities to increase your company’s visibility

Support in identifying relevant contacts

Clear communication and a direct point of contact within the Secretariat

The Secretariat works to facilitate connections, coordinate activities, and support your engagement. While the Chamber does not act as a sales agent or intermediary, it actively helps create the right environment for business relationships to develop.

How We Support Your Engagement

The Secretariat can assist you by:

Advising on which events best match your objectives

Facilitating introductions when appropriate

Highlighting your company news through Chamber channels

Exploring speaking or sponsorship opportunities

Listening to your feedback and suggestions

We encourage members to communicate their goals so we can align our support accordingly.

How You Can Make the Most of Your Membership

Engagement does not need to be complex. Small, consistent actions make a difference.

Stay Connected

  • Regularly attend seminars, networking sessions, and social events

  • Keep your company profile updated

This ensures your company remains visible in the community.

Contribute and Lead

  • Contribute insights to newsletters or interviews
  • Sponsor or co-host events
  • Participate or lead in committees or working groups
  • Recommend potential new members

Members who take visible roles strengthen both their own position and the Chamber as a whole.

Engage Proactively

  • Introduce yourself at events
  • Follow up with new contacts
  • Share relevant updates about your business
  • Request introductions when needed

The Secretariat is available to guide and support these steps.

A Shared Effort

The Chamber provides the platform, coordination, and institutional framework.
Members bring their business goals and expertise.

When both sides work together, membership becomes a strategic asset, not just an affiliation.

How the Chamber Works

A Board of Directors sets strategy and governance

  • Any corporate member in good standing may be nominated or stand for election
  • Directors are elected by the General Assembly of members
  • Directors serve two-year terms and may be re-elected

An Executive Director and team manage daily operations

  • This includes programs, member services, events, and communications
  • Members should direct requests, proposals, and feedback to the executive team, who will coordinate internally and escalate when appropriate

If you have questions, ideas, or concerns — start there.
