29th Japan – Spain Business Co-operation Committee

We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming 29th Meeting of the Japan-Spain Business Cooperation Committee, co-organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the Japan Chamber of Commerce, and supported by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo.
The event will take place on April 24, 2025, at 13:00 at the International Conference Hall (3F), Plaza Heisei, Tokyo International Exchange Center.
The Japan-Spain Business Cooperation Committee is a bilateral organization established to strengthen economic, commercial, and investment ties between Japan and Spain. The Committee meets biennially, alternating between the two countries, and serves as a platform to facilitate dialogue, networking, and collaboration among businesses, governmental bodies, and organizations from both nations.
This significant event returns to Japan for the first time since 2017, after the COVID-19 pandemic affected the organization of the 2021 edition.
The meeting will be chaired by the Spanish Co-chairman, Mr. José Manuel Entrecanales, Chairman and CEO of ACCIONA, and the Japanese Co-chairman, Mr. Mikio Sasaki, Chairman of Mitsubishi Corporation, accompanied by official representatives from both governments.

日西経済合同会議は、日本とスペインの経済・貿易・投資関係強化を目的に設立された二国間組織で、2年ごとに両国で交互に開催されています。新型コロナウイルスの影響で2021年の会議が中止となったため、日本での開催は2017年以来となります。
本会議ではスペイン側委員長のホセ・マヌエル・エントレカナレス氏と日本側委員長の佐々木幹夫氏が共同議長を務め、両国政府の代表者が参加予定です。
