Ocean Winds (OW) is an international company headquartered in Madrid dedicated to offshore wind energy and created as a 50-50 joint venture, owned by EDP Renewables and ENGIE.
Convinced offshore wind energy has a key role to play in the energy transition, we develop, finance, build and operate offshore wind farms all around the world. Our current portfolio of 14 projects in 7 countries holds a 16.6 GW of gross capacity, including 1.5 GW already in operation, and is on track to power more than 13 million homes with clean energy.
With an office in Tokyo, we are committed to the development of offshore wind in Japan, to reach the clean energy targets of the country.
