We are glad to inform that we have another new Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Japan corporate member: YSLA Architects (Yamamura Sanz Laviña Architects).

YSLA is an architecture, interior, and space design office based in Tokyo. With a Japanese and Spanish license, the office work spans residential, office, and hospitality buildings to product display and museography. The company’s cross-cultural vision uses design as a communication tool, adding value to the spatial experience.

Among their recently completed projects, we can find the renovation and rebranding of three hotel properties in Tokyo for SECTION L. The designers gave these hotels second lives by making them playful, comfortable, and functional with a modern Japanese atmosphere in line with the brand image.

YSLA was also in charge of the space design for the exhibition, “Gaudi and The Sagrada Familia,” which was on show at the National Museum of Modern Art Tokyo (MOMAT) this summer. The exhibition was a grand opportunity to be familiar with Spanish history, arts, and architecture.
