We are pleased to announce FORVIA Faurecia has joined the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Japan as a new corporate member.

FORVIA is an automotive technology group at the heart of smarter and more sustainable mobility. They bring together expertise in seating, interiors, clean mobility, electronics, lighting, and lifecycle solutions to drive change in the automotive industry.

With a history stretching back more than a century, they are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 43 countries, operating 291 industrial sites and 76 R&D centers worldwide. You’ll find our technology in one in every two vehicles produced anywhere in the world.

Their mission is to pioneer technology for mobility experiences that matter to people. That’s because they believe mobility is at the heart of people’s lives and what matters to people: moving freely and caring for the planet, in their own way.

They are the 1st automotive company with net-zero target by 2045 to be approved by the Science Based Targets (June 22). Moreover, in 2022 they created a new company, within the interiors Business group, for Sustainable Materials in the automotive industry.

Faurecia has been present in Spain since 1997. Today, Faurecia Spain is formed by 5,000 employees and has 14 factories and 3 R&D centers distributed various areas in the country. Moreover, the Tarazona plant has been transformed into a 4.0 factory, one of 2 worldwide.

We look forward to FORVIA Faurecia accelerating smarter and more sustainable mobility throughout Japan.
