Skiers, Snowboarders and Onsen Fans – the winter love story continues!

For the fifth time, the members, friends and families of foreign chambers of commerce retreat for a friendly race and a great evening networking party in the Japanese Alps.

With more than 120 people attending, this is probably the largest inter-chamber weekend retreat in Japan. While organized by foreign chambers in Japan, half the attendees are usually Japanese, the other half are foreign nationals. Families, partners and children are most welcome!

Venue: the greatly modernized wintersport resort Ishiuchi-Maruyama, Niigata, conveniently located close to the Echigo-Yusawa shinkansen station. The race in the morning is a fun and easy giant slalom course, ready for children of any age, snow boarders and those who haven’t skied or snowboarded for quite some time.

Still not into skiing or snowboarding? Enjoy the fantastic and famous onsens of the Maruyama Onsen area – there are even tours to experience e.g. five different onsen a day!

Date: weekend of Jan. 25/26, 2020

Accommodation can be arranged freely by participants themselves, fitting their needs as families, groups of friends or single participants.

Note: the evening networking party will take place in the New Otani NASPA. There will also be a morning and evening shuttle bus from the hotel to the ski area and back.

• JPY 2,500 for Ski/ Snowboard adult
• JPY 1,250 for under 20

Award Party

• JPY 5,500 for participants over 12 years old
• JPY 2,500 for children from 6 to 12 years old
• free for children under 6 years old

Any cancellation after the deadline or no-show will be charged.
