Our president, Fernando Picazo, attended an international Spanish chambers’ meeting in Madrid for 2 days on the 5th and 6th July 2022. It was the first time of face-to-face meeting after the pandemic.
On the 1st day, it was held at Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, where the below topics were covered:
The internationalisation instruments of the Secretary of State for Trade, Novel aspects of Royal Decree 1179/2020, Discussion of the digitalisation grants for chambers within the framework of the Transformation and Resiliance Recovery Plan, and General Assemblies of The Federation of Official Chambers of Commerce in America (FECECA) and the Federation of Official Chambers of Commerce of Spain in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania (FEDECOM).
The following day, it was held at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, where the below topics were covered:
“The role of the Chamber Federations. Report of the Assemblies”, Strengthening the relationship between the Territorial Chambers and the Official Spanish Chambers of Commerce abroad, Optimizing services in a post-COVID environment, 2022-2024 strategy, and The new international scenario: challenges and opportunities for Spanish companies.
On the final day, all the attendants were invited to The Zarzuela Palace to meet His Majesty the King Felipe VI on the 2nd day.
