Unlocking the EU Market: A Spotlight on Navigating Spain and Portugal’s Legal Landscapes for Japanese Investors

April 23 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm JST

Unlocking the EU Market A Spotlight on Navigating Spain and Portugal's Legal Landscapes for Japanese Investors Pérez-Llorca

As the global landscape evolves, recognising potential markets’ legal and regulatory frameworks is essential.

With its dynamic economy, an environment conducive to growth and innovation, and a welcoming stance towards investors, the EU and, in particular, Spain and Portugal, offer a stable market with diverse investment opportunities within a common legal ecosystem.

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Japan, in partnership with its corporate member, the leading Iberian law firm Pérez-Llorca, is organising an event tailored for Japan’s leading organisations, offering a unique platform to explore the vibrant opportunities within the EU market, with a particular focus on Spain and Portugal, while addressing the complexities of their legal systems.

This seminar is designed to unravel the intricacies of the intricacies of the EU foreign direct investment (FDI), public subsidies, antitrust, intra-EU trade and import regulation, as well as the Spanish and Portuguese legal environments, in order to facilitate a smoother transition for Japanese corporations looking to invest or expand their footprint in Spain and Portugal.
