Insights from the GEAC 2023 Report

The Gender Equality Advisory Council (GEAC) released its recommendations in December 2023 during the G7 Hiroshima Summit Follow-up at the United Nations University Headquarters. The report outlines concrete measures for gender mainstreaming in ‘economic empowerment,’ ‘education,’ ‘peacebuilding,’ and ‘data,’ which share best practices and actionable solutions.

To explore the report on a deeper level and explore key insights, SpCCJ is co-hosting a seminar event, «Insights from the GEAC 2023 Report» in collaboration with CCI France Japon at L’Espace, CCI France Japon on February 21st.

We are inviting Ms. Samia Jamai, a diversity and inclusion consultant with extensive experience in marketing strategy and employee experience, as a speaker. In this seminar, she will focus on the recommendations to address gender gaps in these areas as she is a passionate advocate for gender equality and women empowerment. Our objective is to be updated on the latest frameworks and recommendations, fostering women’s leadership and engagement. After the presentations, we invite you for networking and refreshments and light food to be served.
