DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, September 8 from 12:00h\, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Japan (SpCCJ) will co-host and event analysing the impact of PM Abe’s resignation. \nJapan will soon have a new Prime Minister following Mr Abe’s record breaking stint in office. Mr Abe won three Lower House elections and became a familiar figure internationally – in itself\, an unusual achievement for a Japanese Prime Minister. His Abenomics programme and the Three Arrows promised much – but what did they really achieve and how will history judge this interesting figure? And what happens next – where do his successors propose to lead Japan? \nOur guest today is Tobias Harris\, Executive Vice President and Japan analyst in Washington\, DC\, for Teneo Intelligence. His biography ‘The Iconoclast: Shinzo Abe and the New Japan‘ was published by Hurst on 27 August and has been very well received. \nHe is an expert on Japanese politics\, and worked in 2006-2007 on the staff of Keiichiro Asao\, at that time a member of the upper house of the Japanese Diet and shadow foreign minister for the Democratic Party of Japan\, for whom he conducted research on foreign policy and Japan’s relations with the United States. A few years later\, in 1998\, his entrepreneurial mindset took him to found Mormedi\, a strategic design consultancy that innovates through customer experience\, delivering service design\, physical design and digital experiences and has representation in Mexico and Japan. Over the last 20 years Jaime has worked on innovation projects for banking clients such as Santander\, Bankia\, and BBVA. \n  \nNoriko Rzonca\, Executive Director\, DX Strategy & Content Planning at Sony Bank\n \nNoriko earned her Ph.D. in Psychology in the U.S.\, focusing on Research and Evaluation Methodology.  Her career started at Allstate insurance company in the U.S.\, where she worked in the Actuarial R&D dept.  In 2006\, she returned to Tokyo\, and worked at Citi group for 8 years on marketing analytics\, pricing elasticity\, customer segmentation\, and P/L forecasting. \nAt Sony Bank\, she is currently in charge of branding\, CX design\, DX strategy including data analytics\, and global services strategy.  She also works to promote change management\, cross-functional. \n  \nFernando Rodríguez Ferrer\, Business Development Director at Bizum  \nFernando studied Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic de Madrid and Spanish Philogy at Uned. He also holds a master’s in industrial technology and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology and has upgraded his studies with a Management Skill of Emerging Leaders course from Harvard Extension School. \nHe has over 12 years of experience working in Financial Services and Strategy Consulting for different firms such as Accenture\, BBVA and Opinno.
