The purpose of this program is to support our young professionals in developing their careers and supporting their personal growth as a member of society by connecting with insightful professionals who are rich in experience and knowledgeable in their industries. SpCCJ YP Mentoring Program will match mentors and mentees to create a useful environment where mentors will provide support to their mentees regularly for 6 months by giving counseling not only on career and work-related matters but also providing other helpful information. Applications for both Mentors and Mentees are open between January 15th and January 28th. This program is held from February 1st until the end of July and it is an activity free of charge. Who can participate? Mentees are normally young individuals seeking to learn\, grow professionally or personally\, and gain valuable skills and knowledge under the guidance of their mentor. You can participate as a mentee if you are a young professional in your late 20s or early 30s. Anyone fitting in this age range could apply to be part of the program however\, SpCCJ individual members and young employees of corporate members will be prioritized. Mentors are typically individuals who have more experience\, skills\, or expertise in a particular field or area of life and are willing to share their insights and wisdom to help others grow and develop. We will accept applications from individuals or corporate members’ professionals who wish to volunteer. We will also consider non-members’ candidacies from experienced professionals with a close relationship with the SpCCJ and a strong commitment to the mentoring process. SpCCJ hopes that this program will serve mentees to develop their career paths and mentors to demonstrate their skills to cultivate the next generation of leaders.
