SUMMARY:SpCCJ Young Professional Mentoring Program II
DESCRIPTION:The registration form is at the bottom of this page.  \n  \nThe SpCCJ would like to bring the experience and industry knowledge of its business network by continuing with the SpCCJ Young Professional Mentoring Program to support our young professionals to develop their careers and support their personal growth as a member of society. \nThe SpCCJ YP Mentoring Program will match mentors & mentees and\, during 6 months\, aim to create the perfect environment where mentors will provide support to their mentees regularly\, giving counselling on career and work-related matters but also providing other advice and useful information. \nApplication for becoming a Mentor and Mentee will be open from January 3 until January 19. This program is free of charge. \n  \nWho can participate?\n\nYou can participate as a mentee if you are a young professional in your late 20s or early 30s. Anyone fitting in this age range could apply to be part of the program however\, individual members and young employees of a corporate or association member will be prioritised.\n\n\nMentors will be experienced professionals\, willing to commit to YP’s self-development. We will accept applications from individual or corporate members’ professionals who wish to volunteer. We will consider also non-members’ candidacies from experienced professionals with a close relationship with the SpCCJ and a strong commitment to the mentoring process.\n\n  \n  \nWhat participants say about the SpCCJ YP Mentoring program\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n❝I found this program to be thoroughly organized and well-managed. DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Annual General Meeting will be held online on Thursday\, 23 March\, from 17h JST until 19h JST.  \nAGENDA \n\n\n\nConsent to hold a virtual AGM: The Members should agree on the meeting format.\nAmendments to the AoI: Adapt the text to the State’s legal counsel suggestions.\nFY2022 Financial statements: The SpCCJ presents its last year’s financial statements to its members for approval.\nFY2023 Budget: The SpCCJ presents its FY2023 budget to its members for approval.\nElection of the board of directors and auditor: The members elect the board of directors for the period 2022 – 2024.\n\n\n\nAll the documentation will be shared with the members during the voting process. \n  \nOn Friday\, March 3\, the SpCCJ will begin accepting applications for the 2023-2024 SpCCJ Board of Directors term. Below you will find everything you need to know about the upcoming elections\, what being on the SpCCJ’s board entails requirements to become and member of the board\, and why you may wish to consider joining\, to help steer one of Japan’s active and fast-growing chambers in the year ahead. \nServing as a board member of the SpCCJ is an exceptional opportunity to lead and develop activities central to the Spain-Japan business network. While serving on the board requires energy\, drive and commitment\, it also provides a rewarding opportunity to give back to the community\, fostering growth opportunities between the two nations. \nBoard of Directors\nThe Board of Directors is a group of 5-15 current SpCCJ corporate members\, elected by other members to address pressing issues and strategies on how to ensure that the organization is operating in the best interest of its stakeholders\, including shareholders\, customers\, employees\, and the community. \nThe Board of Directors decide the purpose and the overall direction of the SpCCJ\, and puts in place the strategy for achieving the goals set out for the year. Key responsibilities of the board\, in combination with the SpCCJ’s Executive Director\, include: \n\nSetting suitable organisational aims and objectives;\nSetting a budget which allows the SpCCJ to fulfil its purpose;\nAgreeing on policies\, targets and priorities;\nMonitoring and reviewing the performance of the SpCCJ and the Secretariat.\n\nEach board member will elect to join one of 6 working groups\, all of which the SpCCJ has identified as crucial for the future sustainable growth of business in Japan. The working groups help define themes\, content and events of interest to the Chamber and support membership growth.
