SUMMARY:SpCCJ Young Professional Mentoring Program II
DESCRIPTION:The registration form is at the bottom of this page.  \n  \nThe SpCCJ would like to bring the experience and industry knowledge of its business network by continuing with the SpCCJ Young Professional Mentoring Program to support our young professionals to develop their careers and support their personal growth as a member of society. \nThe SpCCJ YP Mentoring Program will match mentors & mentees and\, during 6 months\, aim to create the perfect environment where mentors will provide support to their mentees regularly\, giving counselling on career and work-related matters but also providing other advice and useful information. \nApplication for becoming a Mentor and Mentee will be open from January 3 until January 19. This program is free of charge. \n  \nWho can participate?\n\nYou can participate as a mentee if you are a young professional in your late 20s or early 30s. Anyone fitting in this age range could apply to be part of the program however\, individual members and young employees of a corporate or association member will be prioritised.\n\n\nMentors will be experienced professionals\, willing to commit to YP’s self-development. We will accept applications from individual or corporate members’ professionals who wish to volunteer. We will consider also non-members’ candidacies from experienced professionals with a close relationship with the SpCCJ and a strong commitment to the mentoring process.\n\n  \n  \nWhat participants say about the SpCCJ YP Mentoring program\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n❝I found this program to be thoroughly organized and well-managed. For this occasion\, we have again appealed to our favourite mentoring expert\, IE University’s Professor Dr Celia de Anca.  \nJoin us on February 14 at 19h for this online session of 60 minutes\, targeting both mentors and mentees\, in which Celia will explain the different stages of the mentoring process\, and best practices and will share some recommendations to make a mentoring relationship successful and lasting. \nThis webinar is free and open to everyone interested in mentoring and professional development so do not hesitate to join us even if you are not participating in our programme. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate: 14 February 2023\nTime: From 19:00h – 20:00h\nPlace: Online\nPrice: Free\nRegistration: Find the form at the bottom of this page.\nRegistration & Cancellation Deadline: 14 February 2023\, 15h \n  \nAbout the Speaker\n \nDr Celia de Anca is currently the Deputy Dean for Ethics\, Diversity and Inclusion\, and the Director of the Center for Diversity in Global Management at IE University\, where she is also a professor of Diversity and Islamic Finance. \nPreviously\, she was the Director of Corporate Programmes at the Euro-Arab Management School (EAMS)\, Granada. She has also worked for the Fundación Cooperación Internacional y Promoción Ibero-América Europa. (CIPIE) and at the International Division of Banco de Santander. She has a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Boston)\, and from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She holds a degree and PhD from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid\, with a comparative thesis on Islamic\, ethical/ecological investment funds and on the London Market. \nShe is the Author of Beyond Tribalism\, Palgrave McMillan 2012\, and co-author of Managing Diversity in the Global Organization. Macmillan 2007. She had articles published in specialised journals\, in addition to regular articles in the press.   She was an external advisor of Merrill Lynch’s Diversity & Inclusion Council up to 2009. She has been a member of the Ethics Committee of InverCaixa’s s Ethics Fund since 2010 and an IFN Advisory Board Member and a member of the IMEFM Editorial Advisory Board since 2020. \nShe was named female executive of 2008 by the Business Women’s Association of Madrid. (ASEME) Ms. de Anca is fluent in Spanish\, English\, French and Arabic. Her work is regularly cited by the most influential thinkers\, among them Zygmunt Bauman in his final book\, Retrotopia. Her work received numerous distinctions\, such as the 2019 Highly Commended Award for the paper Spanish Women’s Career Inhibitors 2007-2017. by Literati Emerald Publishing. or Best article of Corporate Governance: An International Review in 2016.
